Something new...

O just got 2 new goodies last week, and I want   to share my love for them.
One is good for fall/winter, and another from the end of Summer.
Collection cashmere  boyfriend sweater - item #47920 - pale pink. I just LOVE the color of this sweater, so delicate, exactly light pink I was looking for, and the softness and fit is very nice!
I think this is a perfect color combination!
:-)
well, I have decided this year not to buy 3" short anymore, once I fell in love for the 7" length, but I could not resisted to the orange paisley short, that is much  prettier irl.
I sized up for a more loose, lower and maybe more length look, and I really liked it!
The sweater is size XS ( runs big as the Merino Boyfriend sweater), and the short is size 6.

I also tried the Dolphin grey toothpick, that I love the lengthy , color and jean is so comfy! But as much as I loved the color, there is something between me and  light grey pants that doesn't work :-(
I guess it's not for me.
TTS, lovely color, delicious fit and great for fall!
Do you have any color/item that you love, but it doesn't quite work out for you?!

Have a lovely day!

  1. Why does J. Crew have to make the cute printed shorts only in 3" lengths?! They drive me nuts! I just love those shorts and the sweater is perfect with them.

    1. I agree with you Cate! I decided not to buy 3" shorts 'cause they are too short! I already have a few in my closet, but this print is so pretty and could not resist! Also it has some extra fabric inside that it can be undone making it longer ;-) its lovely! Thnx for stoping by!

  2. Love the shorts & sweater colors. I agree w/Cate about the 3" short length. They should offer more options. Like the fan print shorts came in 4" last year. I think the grey jeans look good on you. Maybe bring down the tone w/a black sweater.

    1. Me too Gigi, I'd love if it was 4 or 5", length, but this shorts is plain on front and back letting it falls nicely on the body, and sizing up helped a bit ;-) there is something with this ton of grey, i bought the other one from last year -Not sure- but ended selling it on eBay bc i didn't wear it :-( and black would be a nice call for this pants! thanks for stoping by!

  4. Hi Andrea!
Love the sweater on you! Is it the same one we were discussing over the summer? I'll have to check on pv. You look great! Agree about the length of the shorts. I have two printed 3" pairs, nwt, to sell because they just feel too short. Actually, I have a gaziiliion jc 3" chino's I'll probably be parting with come next spring. I've become a dedicated fan and collector of jc's boyfriend chino shorts. :) I can wear them to do anything and feel completely *appropriate*.
    Thanks for the reviews! xxoo

    1. Hi JV! thank you! I have two printed 3" shorts as well, that I didn't wear them this year, and I added 2 more - MD mod flower shorts and this one -to my closet :-P. What I'm thinking?!? I was already considering to sell the ones I have 'cause it feels short, but they are so pretty...this one doesn't feel that way, maybe the stretch cotton with no pockets?! ... not sure. I agree w/you about feeling appropriate when in my chinos (love them!) yes, this is the sweater we spoke about it, I got the navy & this cute pink ( I have none pink sweaters!) , but the navy is just like the merino - I might return - with the difference that is softer/ cashmere -and washable!!! ;-) hugs!

  5. I really wanted these shorts and would have bought them in a minute if they had been more than 3 inches long. Cafe capris or a skirt would have been great in this fabric too. Maybe they will bring it back at the factory next year. Thanks for the reviews !

    1. Shopping Cele I LOVE this print and I took it off my wish-list bc of the 3", I can't justify spending that $$$ for such "short" short :-P But after I noticed it was on sale + %%... ohh well, I can make it work :-P you can make it longer about 1", and I can picture this beautiful print in a cafe capris ;-) thanks for stopping by ;-)
